The R256 Muckish Road (Ballyboe Mountain) is closed today and tomorrow for essential repairs between Falcarragh and the back of Errigal Road.

The road will be closed between 9am and 5pm today and between the hours of 8am and 5pm tomorrow, Tuesday.

Some traffic delays may be experienced outside these times also.

The designated diversion routes each day of the works will be via the National Secondary Road and the Regional Road Network, namely the N56 and R251.

Donegal County Council apologises for any inconvenience which this may cause.
