MOTORISTS are being advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra travel time as road works commence in Ramelton.
This comes as a section of Rectory Road, between the Cul na Cille housing estate and the Church Street junction, will be closed to traffic from today, October 13 to October 24.
The closure will be in effect during working hours, from 9am to 5pm each day.

Local access and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
