DONEGAL County Council has issued a statement this morning to warn the public that their Motor Tax service is currently not available in any of the Council offices. They said this is down to a technical issue with the national system.
“Every effort is being made to restore this service and we will keep you updated with any further developments,” a Spokesperson said.
“The online motor tax service is available and you can access it at www.motortax.ie. We apologise for any inconvenience that this is causing.”

Motorists can still tax their vehicles in Motor Tax Offices in Letterkenny, Lifford, Milford, Dungloe or Donegal Town.
