Women in distress WEB

BY SEÁN P. FEENY
AN online campaign has been launched to support a young woman and her young child stranded and homeless in Australia.

The daughter of a Buncrana native had initially fled Australia and returned to Ireland with her toddler son, who was born here, but was forced to return.

The child’s father took her to court under The Hague Convention and an order was made compelling her to return the child to the country they had fled.
