More than a thousand businesses avail of energy support scheme

More than one thousand Donegal businesses have received assistance under the temporary business energy support scheme that was introduced during Budget 2023.

In Donegal, the total value of the claims approved in the 6 month period since the scheme was introduced is over €1.5 million.

The scheme offers financial support to businesses grappling with increases in their electricity or natural gas costs over the winter months.
