MOYA Brennan is hosting her fourth monthly singer’s club, CluBeo, this Friday as part of her Voices and Harps weekend in West Donegal.

The monthly club at Leo’s Tavern in Meenaleck, which has firmly established itself as an event promoting both young and established talent, will be the first event on a special weekend for the popular singer.

Over the weekend Moya will welcome people from all over the world to her Voices and Harps workshops, which she is hosting with her friend and musical director, Cormac de Barra, for the third year in a row.

“Cormac and I will host CluBeo and perform a few songs, but there will also be a lot of other musicians performing all styles and genres of music, whether they are singing in Gaelic, doing cover songs or their own original material.

“It’s so lovely to see the talent that comes to this open mic night, most of whom are young singers, as well as the more established artists.

On Saturday night Moya and Cormac will launch their second album together, Affinity.

Sunday night will see participants of the workshops take to the famous stage with their tutors for the closing event of the third annual Voices and Harps weekend.
