MONAGHAN, Kathleen (née Deery) – East Port, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and caring staff of Sligo University Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband, Gerry, son, Gerald, brother, Francis (Scotland) and sister, Sadie (Scotland).
Kathleen will be sadly missed by her son, Bernard (Ballyshannon), daughters, Geraldine (Longford), Martina (Ballyshannon), Nicola (London), her sister, Margaret (Canada) and brothers, Jim (Scotland) and Pat (London’s), nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Kathleen shall be reposing at John McGee and Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Road, Ballyshannon on Tuesday, June 14th from 4 pm to 8 pm, with removal at 8.30 pm to her late residence to repose overnight. Removal from her residence on Wednesday morning at 10.15 am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon.
