THE Rosses Community School (RCS) in Dungloe will be hosting a rock concert this Friday, January 17, as part of their entry to BEO!.

BEO! is an annual contest which encourages secondary school students to promote the use of the Irish language in their schools while promoting local rock musicians.
The students of RCS have entered this contest for the past two years running and made it to the finals both times. They are hoping it’ll be a case of third time lucky in 2014.

The acts performing on the night include current students of the school, Alison Graham, and 5th year band The Nameless. Past students of the school, Not That Famous will also be making an appearance. There will also be several other acts from other parts of the county, such as Duck and Cover, Solution and Eve Murtagh.

The headline act for the evening is the none other than the critically acclaimed Mojo Gogo. Two members of the band, Nicki Pollock and Paul Rodgers, are past pupils of RCS, so they will be making a very welcome return to their old school.
The concert is taking place in the Rosses Community School assembly area in the main school building and begins at 6:30pm, finishing at 11pm.

The entry cost is €3. Food and refreshments will also be provided on the night. It is sure to be a great night, with all the wonderful acts performing.

Bígí Linn, agus Bainigí sult as an Ceol, an Craic agus an Comhluadar!
