Donegal star Peadar Mogan has urged the county’s supporters to make sure they pick up their tickets for the eagerly-anticipated Ulster Championship quarter-final with Derry and try and help the team secure a famous win.
There is expected to be a large crowd at the match at Celtic Park and Derry have built up a good following.
Clubs in Donegal are currently taking orders for terrace tickets, and the closing date is on Wednesday at 12 noon.
Tickets for terrace tickets cost €18 for adults while OAPs/Students are €15 and a juvenile ticket is priced at €5.
Mogan says it makes a big difference when a large and vocal Donegal support is backing the team and he hopes to see plenty of green and gold on April 20.
“Every day you go out obviously you’re trying to win but you’re playing for the people of Donegal as well and I hope they recognise that,” Mogan told the Donegal News.
“The support has been great for us all year and hopefully people will come out and support us in Celtic Park as well.
“It won’t be easy but fingers crossed we will get the result.
“It does make a big difference when you have that crowd behind you.
“They lift you when you get a turnover and when you hear the roar from a score. That’s what you play for.
“I remember when I was younger and going to watch big games with Tyrone in MacCumhaill Park.
“Those are brilliant days to be supporters and brilliant days to be playing in as well so hopefully our people will come out and support us once again.”
