Missing Letterkenny teacher sadly found deceased

Gardaí have confirmed that a missing Letterkenny teacher has sadly been found deceased.

Earlier today, the PSNI  launched a public appeal for missing man Seamus Quinn.

Seamus (63) worked as a teacher in Letterkenny.

Seamus’s last location is believed to be on the city side of Derry yesterday morning.

A garda spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of a body, the missing person appeal for Seamus Quinn , who was reported missing from Derry since October 21, 2025, has been stood down.

“No further action is required.”
