Donegal Minister Charlie McConalogue shared a few words with US President Joe Biden during the President’s visit to Áras an Uachtaráin today.
The visit was part of a busy schedule for President Biden who will address a Joint Sitting of the Dáil and Seanad this afternoon.
Minister McConalogue was among a delegation who welcomed the President to Áras an Uachtaráin this morning.
In a statement, President Michael D. Higgins thanked President Biden for his continuing support for the Good Friday Agreement.
During their meeting, they discussed the Peace Process in Northern Ireland as well as the contribution of the Irish in America to American society and the challenges which members of the diaspora continue to face.
