A MILFORD native has been announced as the new Regional Base supervisor for the Donegal region by ambulance, event medical and training services provider Medicall.
Charlotte Harpur was recently appointed to the role, one of seven newly-created Regional Base Supervisor positions introduced by Medicall as part of a major nationwide investment designed to strengthen on-the-ground co-ordination and local crews. These seven appointments have been created as part of 18 different roles country-wide. It marks a key step in the company’s ongoing expansion of regional operations and emergency medical response country-wide and its ongoing commitment to building a resilient, responsive, and community-focused independent ambulance service.
Bringing a wealth of experience in the field of emergency medicine, Charlotte will be based at Medicall’s Letterkenny office, joining a supervisor network that includes Cork, Kilkenny, Cavan, and other key locations throughout Ireland. Her duties will include managing regional operations, supporting frontline crews, and ensuring the delivery of timely and high-quality care to patients in Donegal and surrounding areas.
Senior Business Development Manager at Medicall, Patrick Gallagher, hailed Charlotte’s appointment as a ‘significant milestone’ in the company, adding,
