Milford hold on to take U14 Division 3 title

Milford 2-6 Termon 0-10

Milford held their nerve late on and seen out the game to take the Under-14 Divison 3 title in O’Donnell Park on Wednesday night.

Donall Barrett’s men were full value for their 2-4 0-4 lead at half time, Kai Corcoran Crerand hitting 2-2 of that and Daithí Winston pulling the strings, but it was by no means over.

Termon hit back through five points from midfielders Jack McDermott (3) and Charlie Gallagher, while Rory Gallagher also hit three as it went to 2-4 to 0-9 with five to play.

Rory McGettigan cancelled out Jack Barrett’s score to keep the deficit at one point but Winston stepped up in added time to kick the score that secured the win.
