On Monday night, the family of Mairead Murray presented a cheque to Isobell Moore and Lucy McGettigan from Donegal Hospice of the donations collected from Milford GAA club’s St Stephen’s Day Walk.
The late Mrs Murray sadly passed away in November.
A fantastic crowd turned out for a walk in her memory, and a brilliant total of €11,065 was raised — a truly phenomenal amount.

This generosity will help Donegal Hospice continue to provide compassionate, specialist palliative care to patients and their families right across Donegal.
Milford GAA club say they ‘are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, walked, supported, and helped make this possible’.
