Milford eyeing up Premier Division return

MILFORD United manager Noel Gillespie believes his team are ready to make the step back to the Premier Division.

Milford were the longest serving team in the top flight when they eventually fell through the trap door in the 2019/20 season.

A campaign was skipped then due to Covid and the Moyle View club were somewhat fortunate not to be relegated to the third tier last season.

However, they have been much improved this year and a draw against Gweedore Celtic at An Screaban this Sunday will see them promoted.

“It’s where we want to be,” Gillespie told the Donegal News.
