Michael Murphy will be making his long awaited return to the county team in 2025.
The Glenswilly man had been tipped to make a return to the green and gold ever since retiring and plenty of rumours were doing the rounds once his former manager Jim McGuinness was put in charge of the county side.
Murphy, who turned 35 in August, won an All-Star award in 2012, 2014 and 2019 but called time on his intercounty career in November 2022.
Murphy had been working as a pundit with GAAGO and was part of the Football Review Committee that brought in the new proposed rule enhancements that were trialled at the interprovincial championship this year.
