MET Eireann is predicting that we could see some snow in Donegal next week as a north westerly front brings a cold snap.
A forecaster told the Donegal News today that the highest risk for snow will be on Tuesday.
Temperatures will be around three degrees and a colder air mass will begin to descend over the weekend.

She said: “There is a risk of wintery showers which could be a mix of hail, sleet and possibly snow as well. While it is still quite early to predicate we do have indications that there will be wintry showers next week.”
