Red Hugh’s manager Gerard Melaugh is keen for his club to finish off the year on a high by winning the Under 21 ‘C’ Championship title.
Melaugh admits that it hasn’t always been easy to get his best side out in recent weeks.
However, it looks like things are coming together now and they have plenty of senior experience and know-how to call upon. He doesn’t want them to have any regrets on the big day.
“It would be a great way to finish out the year,” said Melaugh, who is part of the Red Hugh’s management team with Eugene Browne, Luke Kelly, Calvin Bradley, Sean Sweeney, Kathy Kelly, and Tommy McGlinchey.
“It’s not been easy to get everyone out for all the matches.
“Things have started to come together a bit in the last two games and we have got the chance to try out things that we had hoped to look at in the group stages.
“The boys have had a good run and it would cap it off now if we could win on Friday.”
