A public meeting scheduled to take place in Dungloe tonight to discuss community concerns over a planned wind farm has been postponed due to Storm Amy.
The meeting will now take place next Friday, October 10, at 7pm in Ionad Teampeall Chroine.
The public meeting follows a planning application lodged by Irish Premium Renewable Energy Ltd for a proposed development at Croaghnashallog.
The site which is located 2km from the town will span a total area of over 90 hectares and include five turbines.
However, the Dungloe Wind Turbine Action Group is calling for the proposed development to be stopped.
“Our meeting is open to Dungloe and surrounding areas who would like to attend or help out in any way to save our bog ground from being destroyed,” the group said.
