FOLLOWING the sad passing Cllr Michael McClafferty’s mother last night, the Glenties Municipal District meeting scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled as a mark of respect.
The meeting will now take place in two weeks’ time on Tuesday, March 25 at 11am.
Bridie McClafferty, of Fanmore, Falcarragh passed away in the Lake House Nursing Home, Portnablagh on Sunday, March 9.
Ms McClafferty’s remains will be reposing at her home in Fanmore from 2pm today, Monday, March 10.
Funeral Mass in St. Finian’s Church, Falcarragh on Wednesday, March 12 at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Ms McClafferty will be sadly missed by her sons Michael, Owenie and Charles, granddaughter Darcy, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Mickey.
