CLONMANY Community Centre are working alongside Heritage Keepers and Clonmany Genealogy and Heritage Group to host a “Meet & Make” Heritage Day.
On Saturday, June 1 there will be different events throughout the day to bring people together and celebrate the beautiful history of Clonmany.
Starting off the day there will be a Heritage Walk from 9.45am to 12pm, starting from the Urris GAA car park (Parking available).
Shortly afterwards there will be an interactive demonstration exploring traditional methods of making Irish soda bread, this will take place upstairs in The Market House Clonmany from 12,30pm to 1.30pm.
There will also be a Historical Photo Exhibition taking place all day long in The Market House Clonmany.
Alongside this we will also have some workshops for the younger generation to get them involved.
There is a kids willow toy workshop from 10.30pm to 12pm and a kids weaving workshop from 2pm to 3.30pm, both of these will take place in The Market House Clonmany.
