McSHANE – The death has occurred of Mairead McShane (née McDonagh), Convent Road, Letterkenny and formerly of Galway. Retired National Teacher. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Jimmy and son Seamus (Sheamy), loving mother of Sinead Walsh (Kilkenny) and husband Paul, son Eoin (California) and wife Ashley, daughter Una Phelan (Tralee) and husband Zac.

Deeply regretted by her brother Michaél (UK), sisters Maria O’Loughlin, Maura O’Donnell, Deirdre Ní Chonfhaola, Sarah Brennan (Galway), Bríd Martin (Sligo) and Bernie Nagle (Tralee), grandchildren Shane, Eoin, Siún, Dottie, Walter and Mabel Mairead.

Rest In Peace

Mairead’s remains will repose at her late residence Convent Road from 6 pm this evening, Tuesday 20th November. Funeral from there on Thursday morning 22nd November going to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 10 am Requiem Mass followed by interment in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.
