Joe McQuillan will referee this Saturday’s hotly anticipated All-Ireland group stage Group 3 opener between Donegal and Tyrone.
The Cavan man will take charge in MacCumhaill Park (throw-in 7.15pm) in the All-Ulster clash.
The experienced whistler last took charge of a Donegal game in an 0-21 to 0-9 defeat to Roscommon in the final game of last year’s Allianz National League Division 1.

McQuillan is no stranger to refereeing this battle between North West rivals, having been in charge as Donegal lost to Tyrone in the 2021 Ulster semi-final.
