STEPHEN McNutt has been confirmed as the new Head Coach of Finn Harps’ Under 19 National League and Ulster Senior League teams.
He holds a UEFA Pro licence, having gained his qualification in 2018, and replaces Tommy Canning who last week left Harps Under 19s to take over as manager of Dergview.
McNutt wasn’t expecting a Head Coach role to open up but he is delighted to have been appointed.
“I was talking to Kevin (McHugh) a few months ago and he asked me to get involved with the academy.
“I was interested and I left it up to him really to let me know if a position became available.
“Tommy (Canning) has moved on to Dergview, and Kevin got in touch to see if I would come on board as Head Coach of the Under 19s and the Ulster Senior League team.
“I’m very excited about it. I know Kevin and the coaches are doing great work with the academy.”
