Tony McNamee captained Finn Harps to victory over Cobh Ramblers in a First Division thriller in Ballybofey on Friday night.

The Ramelton man made his first appearance back with Harps following his recent move from Bonagee United, and had a super game in midfield on a night when Harps recorded a welcome league win.
It was 2-2 at half-time with Wilson Waweru for Cobh and Harps’ Ryan Flood (main picture) both scoring twice – Flood’s second coming from the penalty spot shortly bef0re half-time.
Patrick ‘Dixie’ Ferry scored his first Harps goal to make it 3-2 and while Michael Walsh Rowe levelled it at 3-3, Sean O’Donnell capped a fine display up front with the winner on 70 minutes.
The Harps fans were singing in the rain at the finish as Harps recorded what was only their second home win of the season.
