The peaceful death has taken place in Aras Gweedore of Seamus McHugh (retired Principal of St. Fionan’s N.S. Falcarragh). Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Nellie; brother Michael.

Survived by his wife Ann; son Michael; daughter Eibhlin; daughter-in-law Elaine; son-in-law Adrian; grandchildren Hannah, Isibéal and Ellen.

His wake will commence at his home in Fanaboy today, Tuesday, 20^th December at 2 pm. Removal from there on Wednesday 21^st December at 6.30 pm going to Christ the King Church, Gortahork for 6.45 pm to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 22^nd December at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary on Tuesday night at 9 pm.
