Donegal manager Jim McGuinness said he was not surprised with the questions that Tyrone asked of his team on Sunday.
McGuinness and his charges were favourites after their super performance against Derry last week.
They were outstanding that day as they played at breakneck speed, but it was a much different affair on Sunday.
Tyrone sat deep and cut out the space and it took a long time for Donegal to break them.
“No not really,” said McGuinness when asked about Tyrone’s approach.
“Obviously we had scored the goals the last day and they came in transitional moments so we knew those questions were going to be asked.
