As always Donegal manager Jim McGuinness was in demand for post-match interviews today, but he was more than happy to speak after seeing his team defeat Fermanagh by 2-16 to 0-8.
Donegal were a point up after a tough and competitive first half.
However, a 42nd minute goal from Daire Ó Baoill eased the pressure.
Donegal kicked on with Ó Baoill notching a second goal, and McGuinness’s team ran out convincing winners.
That leaves them with three wins from three games and they are top of Division 2, with four matches to go.
“You have to be (happy) aye whenever you end up getting a good score on the board.
“I think in the first half we were challenged enough and questioned enough and we had to respond to that in the second half.
“I’m happy with that part of it and happy with the positivity and the energy levels in the second half, and that obviously correlated then with a lot of scores.”
