Donegal manager Jim McGuinness was full of praise for Peadar Mogan after he delivered a super display against Kildare today.
Mogan actually started at corner-back but roamed out the field impressively.
He scored five points as Donegal won by 1-17 to 0-8.
“The way the thing is at the minute they’re playing in every position anyway and they’re interchanging, ” said McGuinness after the match.
“To be honest, it depends on the phase of play. You could be a corner-back playing corner-forward in a kick-out press, and equally they could be man-marking at the other end.
“We’re very happy with him and more than anything his timing was exceptional.
“He was coming onto the ball at pace and kicked some beautiful scores.
“It’s great and obviously we have three other full-backs who will be hoping to get back in at some stage as well.”
