Donegal manager Jim McGuinness expects Shaun Patton to play in the Ulster Final against Armagh.
Patton is a vital player for Donegal and is one of the top goalkeepers in the land.
He played a key role in the quarter-final win over Derry but picked up an injury in that match and was replaced.
The St Eunan’s man then missed the semi-final with Tyrone but is due to return in the time for the Armagh game on May 12.
“Shaun is doing good. He trained last night and we expect him to play,” said McGuinness.
“He had an issue coming off the back of the training camp the weekend that we were away.
“He had a niggle and he wasn’t feeling right and on the back of that we felt there was no point risking him.
“We took him out of the last game and he’s back now so he’s heading in the right direction.”
