McGuinness comments on ‘privacy fence’ at Convoy

Donegal manager McGuinness has commented on the new fence that is to be constructed at the Donegal GAA Centre in Convoy around pitch number five.

Donegal supporters in London have been raising money to help cover the price of the new fence, which is needed ‘to give privacy’.

It is a matter that has got plenty of attention nationally. There is a lot of interest in Donegal since Jim McGuinness returned to the hotseat, and joint-Tyrone manager Fearghal Logan was spotted in the crowd in Ballyshannon at the challenge game between Donegal and Roscommon last Sunday.

McGuinness said: “I can confirm that it’s not eight metres, it’s eight foot! I’m hoping we can get it triple-secured so the people who put out the stories in Donegal stay out! There’s no moat but there could be an electric fence!”
