McGrory helps Ireland qualify for 4x400m relay final

Kelly McGrory (Tir Chonaill AC) made her Olympic debut in Paris this morning and helped the Ireland team qualify for the Womens’ 4 x400 metres relay final.

The Laghey woman put in a strong display on the third leg.

Sophie Becker, Phil Healy, and Sharlene Mawdsley were also part of the relay team and they finished third in a fine time of 3.25.05 and secured automatic qualification.

The relay final takes place on Saturday evening.
