KILMACRENNAN Celtic manager Gerard McGranaghan said the team’s willingness to stick together was central to his decision to stay on as manager for another season.
Kilmacrennan won the Premier Division title last year when they got the better of Bonagee United in a play-off.
Despite his side’s excellent form, it hadn’t been a simple few years with Covid and the infamous boardroom struggle with Cappry Rovers over the 2019/20 league title.
Last year’s triumph seemed like the perfect way to bow out and sail off into the sunset.
However, McGranaghan – known affectionately as ‘Zola’ – was soon to be lured back into the hotseat.
