McGOWAN – The death has taken place peacefully of Josephine McGowan, The Glebe, Stranorlar, peacefully at the home of her daughter Marie. Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy, son John, infants Michael Thomas, Mary and Ann. Sadly missed by her loving family Tony, Patrick, Eamonn, Christopher, Noel, Joan (McDermott) and Marie (McGirr).

Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, 36 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many loyal friends.

Josephine’s remains will be reposing at her late home, The Glebe, Stranorlar tomorrow, Friday, from 10 am to 10 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 10 pm. Leaving from there Sunday at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11 am and interment immediately after in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey.
