McGlynns to open Mary from Dungloe Festival this year

THE 57th Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival in July is to be officially opened by Shaun and Noreen McGlynn.

The family have been in business in the town for over 50 years, with Noreen living on the Main Street since she was two years of age.

McGlynn’s Funeral Directors have helped and assisted many families in the area over the years and are a perfect choice for this occasion, organisers have said.

In a post online, a spokesperson for the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival said the couple will add a “special touch” to the prestigious event.

“We are thrilled that they have accepted this invitation, and we truly believe that they are deserving of it and have no doubt that their participation will undoubtedly add a special touch to the beginning of the 57th festival.

“Our official opening is kindly sponsored by The Cope Dungloe.”
