Paddy Carr has named his first Donegal team for the McKenna Cup opener against Down in Pairc Esler on Sunday.
There is only one player selected who has not played for Donegal at senior level previously and that is Luke McGlynn from Glenfin.
McGlynn is only 18 years old, but is a highly-rated footballer.
There is a fresh look to the starting team as Jamie Grant, Caolan McColgan, Rory O’Donnell, and Michael Lynch are all inexperienced at this level.
Gavin Mulreany, John Ross Molloy, Gary McFadden, Domhnall Mac Giolla Bhríde, Hugh O’Donnell, Johnny McGroddy, Jack McSharry, Joel Bradley Walsh and Kane Barrett will all be looking to make their debuts off the bench, and Donegal are able to use more than five subs in the McKenna Cup.
