The Glenfin GAA club have confirmed that Frank McGlynn will manage their senior men’s team in 2025.
McGlynn replaces Frank Ward, who was bainisteoir for one campaign.
McGlynn is well-known throughout the country, having starred for Donegal for many years, helping the county to the All-Ireland in 2012 as well as five Ulster titles.
He was always regarded as a good clubman during that time, and helped the Pairc Taobhoige side to the Intermediate title in 2018, while he has coached several underage sides at Glenfin.
He will now take on the manager’s role next term, and Glenfin will be in the Senior Championship and Division 1 once again.
A club statement read: Clg Ghlenn Fhinne welcome the appointment of Frank McGlynn as Senior Team Manager for 2025. We wish Frank, his backroom team, and all our players the very best of luck in 2025.
