McGlynn looks ahead to ‘tricky’ tie in Newry

Frank McGlynn says there is an opportunity for someone to step up and become Donegal’s chief score-getter in the Ulster Championship.

With Michael Murphy now retired and Patrick McBrearty out long-term, Donegal have lost their two marquee forwards.

Getting scores in the league was a real arduous task and Donegal were averaging just over ten points a game.

That level of scoring won’t win many matches, and as the pitches harden and the better weather arrives, bigger tallies are going to be a necessity.
