Malin 2-12 Gaeil Fhánada 2-12
BERNARD McGettigan swung over a brilliant late equaliser against Malin in Connolly Park to keep Gaeil Fhánada in contention to make the knock-out stages of the Intermediate Championship.
Paddy Carr and Josh Conlon swapped goals in the first half as Fanad led by 1-6 to 1-5 at the break.
A Michael Sweeney major pushed the away side three ahead with 55 minutes played, but Finn Ward’s goal set up a dramatic finish.
Josh Conlon looked to have won it for Malin but McGettigan had the last say.
The Inishowen side will be happy enough with two draws and a win to their name, while Fanad will have to beat Buncrana in Round 4 and hope that is enough to send them through to the quarter-finals.
