Donegal got their 2026 campaign off to a fine start with a comfortable victory against Antrim in the Dr McKenna Cup at Cargin today.
An experimental Donegal battled well in heavy conditions.

They led by 0-7 to 0-3 at the break with debutants Shea Malone and Conor McCahill on target.
Hugh McFadden kicked two fine points early in the second half and Donegal rattled in a goal from Eoin McGeehin in the 51st minute.
Seanan Carr kicked a super two-pointer late on as Jim McGuinness’s team got up and running with a win.
