MICHAEL McGeehin has been working with intercounty teams for almost thirty years now, but his passion for coaching still burns bright as he prepares for a championship campaign as trainer of the Tipperary footballers.
McGeehin was only thirty when he helped coach both Clare and Mayo to provincial titles in what was that famous season of 1992.
He has been much travelled in the intervening years and has previously worked with Fermanagh, Limerick, Tipp, and Laois, while he coached Donegal during John Joe Doherty’s two years in charge.
