AFTER a tough few months out with injury, Jason McGee is enjoying his return to the Donegal side and was a crucial player in Sunday’s win over Tyrone.
The Cloughaneely man missed all but the final of the league campaign after picking up an injury in the McKenna Cup but his return has been a massive lift for Jim McGuinness’ men.
And the midfielder is glad to be back on the pitch having played a big part in both wins over Derry and now Tyrone.
“It has been a tough few months injury wise on a personal note and it was great to get back,” McGee said.
“It was a long period off during the league and it was great to get back for the league final, a good run out in a tough game (vs Armagh) at Croke Park and a taste of victory.
“Thankfully then I’ve stayed injury free building up to the championship and please God all going well over the next few weeks.
