Fergus McGee has been elected as the new Donegal GAA Chairperson at tonight’s County Convention.
The St Eunan’s clubman got the better of Paul McGonigle (Buncrana) in a close contest. McGee received 87 votes, while McGonigle picked up 77.
It is an impressive triumph for Loughanure native McGee, who replaces Mick McGrath as the Chair.
