McGEADY, Eileen (née McLaughlin) – Magheroarty, Gortahork, of Gortnalake, Creeslough who passed away suddenly at her residence on the 29th December 2018. Pre-deceased by her husband John and sister Kathleen Doogan.

Much loved mother of Joan, Carmel and Shaun and mother-in-law of Fergal Finn and Serena Ferrick. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Síofra, Cormac, Ailbhe and Leo, her sisters Anna Doherty and Josephine Greer, her brother Brian McLaughlin, sisters-in-law Patricia McLaughlin and Bella Kelly and by all her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Eileen’s remains will leave the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Monday 31st December at 4 pm going to her late residence to be waked. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday the 3rd January at 11.30 pm for 12 noon Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary at 10 pm.

Family time after the Rosary until 10 am.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the local First Responder’s Unit, c/o any family member. Condolence book available at the house.
