McFadden named Letterkenny Gaels Club Person of Year

On Saturday evening last, Letterkenny Gaels GAA Club held their Annual Club Dinner Dance at the Clanree Hotel.

Clodagh O’Connor and James Frain were the joint MCs on the night and proceedings were opened by Club President, Fr. Ciaran Harkin PP.

Club Chairman, Danny Cathail gave a review of a very successful year both on and off the field for the Club. Guest speaker and dual player, Ruairi Ó Mianáin, from CLG Slaughtneil and Derry GAA, took to the stage where James Frain conducted a Q&A session with him.

Presentations then took place and these were followed by music into the wee hours with the Soggy Bottom Boys.

The hard-working Mark McFadden was named as Club Person of the Year.
