McFadden enjoying ‘good buzz’ with Gweedore United

GWEEDORE United have adapted to life in the Temple Domestic Appliances Division One without any great issues and captain Mark McFadden and the team are enjoying testing themselves at a higher standard.

The Carrickboyle side flirted with promotion for a couple of seasons before finally making the breakthrough last term.

They sit fourth in the second tier with six wins from nine games and have also taken a Premier Division scalp when beating Kilmacrennan Celtic in the Ulster Cup.
