McDyer earns Naomh Conaill a draw against St Eunan’s

St Eunan’s 0-12 Naomh Conaill 1-9

Brendan McDyer converted an injury-time free as Naomh Conaill earned a draw against St Eunan’s in Division 1 at O’Donnell Park this afternoon.

St Eunan’s were one point ahead at the break and extended that lead out to five points midway through the second half.

However, a super goal from teenager Mark McDevitt brought Naomh Conaill back into the mix.

The home side felt a soft free was given against them late on but McDyer held his nerve to fire over.

Conor O’Donnell Jnr had a difficult chance to win the game at the end for St Eunan’s but his effort drifted wide and the sides had to settle for a draw.
