Finn Harps 2-1 Drogheda United
Paddy McCourt came off the bench to inspire Finn Harps to victory over Drogheda United at Finn Park tonight.
Drogheda hit the crossbar early on, before Ciaran O’Connor spurned a great chance for Harps.
The visitors hit the front in the 24th minute, when Sean Brennan fired an excellent free-kick into the top corner.

Ollie Horgan made a double substitution at half-time with Paddy McCourt and Jesse Devers coming on, and they both made an impact.
Harps got back on level terms in the 54th minute when Keith Cowan headed McCourt’s free-kick into the bottom corner.
The home side went ahead eleven minutes later when McCourt and Devers combined, before Ciaran O’Connor scored.
Drogheda were poor in the second half, but they did almost get a leveller in the 85th minute when Conor Kane’s cross hit the crossbar.
Harps had to endure five minutes of injury-time but they held on to claim the victory.
The Ballybofey men have another big game on Monday at home to Galway United at 5pm.
