Rising stars Conor McCahill and Turlough Carr have been named in the Donegal starting line-up for the match with Antrim on Sunday in the McKenna Cup.
McCahill is still eligible for the Donegal U20s for the next two campaigns and captained Abbey Vocational School in the MacRory Cup on Friday evening.
He will wear the number 13 shirt against the Saffrons in Cargin with the game throwing in at 1.30pm.
Turlough Carr is also eligible for the U20s this year and he will play at centre half-forward on Sunday. His older brother Seanan is part of the squad as well.
Paul O’Hare (Naomh Columba), Ultan Doherty (Naomh Conaill), Max Campbell (Naomh Conaill), Kieran Gallagher (Naomh Conaill) and Shea Malone (Naomh Conaill) are named in the starting line-up and are in line to make their senior debuts.
Pádraig Mac Giolla Bhríde (Gaoth Dobhair), Cormac Gallagher (Termon) and Eoin McGeehin (St Eunan’s) are among the substitutes and will make their debuts if introduced.
The starting team isn’t quite as strong as the one that was due to play Derry last week but they will still be in with a good chance of winning the match. Hugh McFadden will captain the team.
