Patrick McBrearty admitted it was great to finally taste competitive action once again on Saturday against Armagh.
McBrearty missed Donegal’s first three games since the intercounty season resumed through injury.
However, he was fit to play on Saturday and scored a fisted point.
“Yeah, we’re just delighted to be back in an Ulster final. For myself, getting back out there today with the lads was brilliant. But it was all about the result. We got it and we went about it in good fashion.”
